Bollywood

Here is a pretty typical Bollywood scene, we are all standing around, waiting for the director to
yell "OK- now dance like crazy!" as the smoke machine pumps out a thick cloud of white fog rendering most of the extras more or less invisible. This shoot was for a film called 'Rag'
and this club is supposed to be in London, and it was shot in an actual club
(i can't remember the name) out in Juhu, which is kind of like the Beverly Hills
of Bombay, lifestyles of the rich and famous indeed!

It's been a while, but better late than never...

Seems like ages since I updated my blog-
at the moment I am in Mumbai (Bombay)
working as an extra on TV shows and films,
and having a great time exploring this unique city.
This photo is from Lonar Lake, which was created by
a meteorite (or more likely a comet, according to the American
geologist I met there) some 50,000 years ago.
There are temples around the lake, some of them
seemingly quite ancient. My favourite was the 'Bat Cave' temple,
a small, symetrical, stone temple, full of bats producing an ultra hi pitched
chattering sound, as well as a terrible odour.
